In a move seen as promoting religious tolerance, the Emir of Bauchi Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu joined some Christian faithfuls to sing "Jesus is coming soon."

The Emir joined the Christian faithfuls, who paid him a Christmas homage in his palace in Bauchi, to sing the worship song.
In a 40-seconds video posted by AIT on its YouTube channel on Monday evening, the emir could be seen and heard cheerfully singing JESUS IS COMING SOON, immediately the faithfuls began to sing.
The videoRecall that the Emir had in January this year also joined some Christian women group in a gospel song.
The royal father led the women group, ‘Matan Zumunta’ in the song when they paid him a visit.
Nigeria has for long been bedevilled with high level of religious intolerance, which made the United States of America government under the leadership of Donald Trump, to list the country among such countries in December 2020.
However, in November this year, the US government delisted Nigeria from list of countries with religious intolerance.
US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken announced that Nigeria has been removed from the list of countries with high-level religious intolerance.
